Collector’s Edition – 1961 Chevy Impala aka Bubbletop

The Impala is one of those quintessential American collectors car. Many generations have passed, and it has been loved for decades.

This one is the cleanest design from all the generations, in my opinion, a sleek 1961 Chevy Impala coupe, known as the ‘Bubbletop’.

This iconic vehicle is celebrated for its unique roof design, which features a distinctive curved rear window and a sleek, almost spaceship-like appearance. The Bubbletop’s design was a departure from the previous year’s model and represented a bold step forward in automotive aesthetics.

Under the hood, the 1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubbletop was available with a range of engine options to suit varying performance preferences. The standard engine was a 235 cubic inch Inline-6, but buyers could opt for more power with the V8 options, including a 283 cubic inch V8 or even a potent 348 cubic inch V8 engine. This variety allowed drivers to customize their Impala to their liking, whether they wanted a smooth cruiser or a high-performance machine. The Bubbletop also featured Chevrolet’s iconic triple-taillight design, adding a distinctive touch to its already striking appearance.

This one comes with a beautiful red interior with some classy white accents, and looks brand new. The front and rear seats are bench style seats. This one has the lower output 283 V8 engine and comes with the 350 automatic transmission, that shifts from the steering column.

All the paint is shiny, the bumpers are chrome and in great condition. With proper whitewall tires. It is, however, not a cheap one, this one is asking $49,500 and is located in Watsonville, CA
