Sad Craigslist Story: 2012 Range Rover Sport Supercharged

If you wish to cosplay as Megan & Harry’s British Secret Service protection, this 2012 Range Rover Sport is already doing its part, with heavy tinted windows and black wheels. This beast is powered by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that pumps out a whopping 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft of torque. This power is transmitted to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission, making it capable of reaching 60 mph in just 5.9 seconds

It does, however, mentions that it will need a new timing chain and a gear set. The seller does the math for you where this could be a fabulous deal!  At a shop, this would be an $8,000 job. But perhaps you could come up with $6,000 and do the job with a buddy and a six pack of beer this weekend. Right? How hard can that be?
