Sad Craigslist Story: The 2004 Honda CR-V and The Tree

Grab a handkerchief, Today’s Sad Craigslist story, like the animated movies of old, feature a mother in distress, floods, and a long story full or falls and redemption and perhaps yet another chance? Our seller starts by making us comfy, sharing a drink, and next to the warm fire, he told us the story of the busted 2004 Honda CR-V parked outside:

Years ago, when the car was new, my mother struck a tree and it fell on  the side. The airbags were deployed, but the accident was never  reported, so the title is not salvaged. The car sat for years
2 years or so ago, I replaced the IAC valve and oxygen sensor, and began  using it as my everyday car. No problems experienced with it, even took  road trips to Yosemite and the like.
I maintained the proper fluid changes during my use
Recently I hydrolocked the engine. I removed the spark plugs, drained  the water, replaced the spark plugs and got it to start. There was loud  engine knock, and then it froze up. I don’t care to fix it again.

I don’t know about you, but I’d rather buy the rights to the whole story for a quickie Xmas Hallmark Movie. Make the tree a Xmas tree and the story writes itself.  It has everything! action, intrigue, and special flooding effects.  However, should you want to give this car yet another life, The seller is only asking 700 clambacks. The seller is also one of those that helpfully mentions how cheap a replacement engine can be sourced at the junkyard. Want to give this story a happy ending?
