No Matter How Old or Obscure The Cars You Look for, the Digital Marketing Machine Knows You

As you sit there, tinkering on your Jensen Interceptor, Isuzu Rodeo, Oldsmobile Aurora, Saturn or Saab, or any number of dead car brands that have been gone long ago, you may think perhaps no one cares about that hobby anymore in the digital advertising world.

However, the digital marketing machines of the world never rest, you can be assured 1000’s of organizations whose specialty is to slice and dice digital audiences for sale, are carefully and closely looking at your every move on the internet, and even if the car you love and search for every night has been long gone, someone is out there, watching you carefully.

Don’t believe me? The Markup.org published an article with an easy to use link to check.  Check this website that shows you the number of digital audiences and lists, already created and ready to be sold to the highest bidder, and see how many audiences you fit into, here’s a few examples:

Saab – 151 Audiences

Saturn – 201 Audiences

Oldsmobile – 184 Audiences

Renault – 281 Audiences

American Motors Company – 10 audiences

And so on, and so forth. Even specific models long gone have dozens of audience lists. You still drive or want a Ford Festiva? A Mazda Protege? Isuzu Rodeo? A Honda Prelude? A Mitsubishi 3000GT? They still got you!

I found one or two that had no lists at all (Thankfully for me, the Isuzu Impulse, the VW Phaeton and the Honda CRX are safe! But probably someone is tracking it anyway)

Check out the site and see how many lists your obscure #weirdcartwitter model may show up on. The search is not perfect as it also searches on partial matches, but it is a lot of fun. Are your brands and cars in any lists?
