Hayward Classic Car Show September 2023 – Love Your Cars Always

Every year in the East Bay of the Bay Area, several car shows pop-up – mainly the same usual suspects, but these cars are the obsession of the working class, not millionaires, and receive the same love as any multi-million dollar Pebble Beach restoration.

Honestly, loving your car and keeping it mint should be the standard on how we judge these restorations. This feels more human to me than the Pebble Beach Concours show, and you can tell the commitment it takes to keep these American and air-cooled cars for years on end.

These cars are part of an entire culture of older latinos, dedicated to keep them running and in perfect condition. A part of the culture here in California
