Joyride Pick of the Day: 2012 BMW 650i Convertible

Are you close to LA and/or Orange County? You probably have something glamorous and powerful to drive you around, like a Convertible, with a big engine, right?

You don’t? Well, here is you tempting entry in the form of this 2012 BMW 650i Convertible, waiting for you. Is a Texan car a long way from home, who somehow ended up towed in Orange County. Looks like it needs some gentle love at 142K miles. The body has some minor issues and the pics 400HP and a V8 should be plenty to make it to your next red carpet event. The lien will sell as clear title. Starts and Runs as per the description. No video available though.

The worry points are an airbag light in the dashboard, though the steering wheel is fine. The windows are all at different points of closing. If this was parked outside for the pre-requisite 60 days, it may have a wet interior. The fender liners look also hanging for dear life. I should mention this 650i has the very unreliable N63TU 8-cyl engine. Coils, fuel pump and water pump are the weak spots of this engine. Lets hope there is life and not a $6,000 repair needed.

Currently at time of publications, hasn’t broken reserve at $3,150. Probably will need about $6K-$7K to put this in your hands.
