Joyride Pick of The Day: 2007 BMW 750Li
The old adage that there is nothing more expensive than a cheap German car may prove itself again here. That, and perhaps gas going to $8/gallon soon in California makes our Joyride pick of the day a daring one.
Take a look at this white 2007 BMW 750Li – Look at that Bangle butt, once it was a design that split opinions, but we would do unspeakable things to have BMWs look like that now, instead of whatever the new 7 series wants to be. You don’t have to suffer the hellish design BMW has unleashed upon us. You can go back to a gentler, better car design in 2007. These come with 360HP to move over 4,000 lbs of car without any effort.
Car runs and drives (sadly no video yet) and presents a clean body with no blemishes. We don’t see the interior. we don’t know the mileage yet. A little sleuthing and it looks it has at least 154K miles. This one is the thirsty V8 long version. 17MPG in the city, 24 HWY may be a tough sell perhaps if premium gas gets to $8 gallon here in California, but the car comes with a clean title and keys. Hope is not getting overheated on the way home, brave soldier.
Assuming it works and run decently, it would be an amazing deal at around $3,000-$4,000, which the odds are….let’s not go there. Maintenance will befit a car that retailed for the equivalent now of $126,000 MSRP. Keep that in mind.
Currently this top of the line BMW in 2007 sits at $1,000 with the reserve met, at Anaheim, CA. Goes for auction on TODAY Tuesday Oct 10 at 10:30am PST
