Meet Your Weird Car Twitter Cast: @VenomLance: Lance Tedford man of mystery

The rumors abound the true identity of Lance Tedford, some say he is a byproduct of the Lee Iacocca cloning efforts of the late 1980s. Others claim he is just a rogue Artificial Intelligence posing as a human, and that he writes from time to time on a bunch of much cooler automotive blogs. The only truth is no one loves Chrysler LeBarons like he does. He currently is moving into new stately Tedford manor.

Which car were you driving when you got your first traffic ticket? What was the charge? –

For my first traffic ticket, I was driving a 1985 Chrysler LeBaron Turbo. The charge was “illegal use of a registered historic vehicle.” That was 10 years ago and I’m still mad about it.

What vehicle you drove exactly a week ago? whatever it was. no explanations –

Exactly a week ago, I was driving my 2017 Chevy Cruze hatchback.

Confess your irrational car love – The car you love despite its deep flaws –

My irrational car love is the most recent Chrysler 300. I drove a 2018 300 for a few days when I worked at a car dealership and I loved it. It’s big and stupid and not even very fast. But it looks great.

Everyone loves a grudge, so tell us the car brand you will never drive again and why?

As far as car grudges, I have a hard time genuinely hating on a car. But I really despise newer Nissans (especially the Kicks). Totally devoid of any distinguishing characteristics.
